When you encounter such a case, you should resolve it quickly, because over-heating is one of the symptoms of damage to the computer. Computers that are experiencing over-heating can cause damage to files and hardware. The over-heating problem should not be overlooked because it can cause permanent damage to your computer.

There are several things to note when your computer experience over heating:
  1. You should do regular maintenance of your computer. Clean your computer from dust and other impurities. Do not assume trivial presence of dust, because dust is invisible computer killer. Dust can clog the cooling system computer so that cooling process will be slow.
  2. Consider an upgrade on your power supply.
  3. Evaluate your hard drive settings, because the hard drive will generate heat. If you have more than one hard drive, it is advisable for you to possess a separate room so that the hot air circulation becomes better.
  4. Reduce ongoing programs with the aim to reduce the heat generated by the CPU. You can also stop programs that are not in use or remove unnecessary programs.
  5. When you're using a computer, use additional fans behind or beside the computer casing. Usually casing already has an extra fan in the rear of its body that has a function to draw out the hot air. Air absorption is done to avoid the buildup of dust on the power supply.
